This old, vintage pay telephone has a shiny finish which I believe to be nickel plated. (If someone that knows that it is of other type material I would appreciate the correction.) A specification label attached to the top of the unit list the manufacturer as Automatic Electric and a code number LPB-86-55. The telephone line is still attached as it was removed many years ago. It has been in storage at a friend's house since her late telephone repairman husband placed it t It appears to be in the same state as when it was originally removed. T are 2 keys that came with the telephone but I cannot make them work to open either of the locks. I can only assume the telephone was working when it was removed to be replaced with the more modern push buttons of the day. As stated above the unit is as it was when removed and t have been no attempts to do any restoration. Some of the photos shows a reflection of green grass since the telephone was photographed outside to avoid having to use a flash mode on the camera. Buyer is expected to make arrangements for payment within 5 days of end of auction. Cost for shipping will be actual since I do not charge anything for packaging and handling.
