Vintage NICKY VERFAILLIE Grain de Folie Perfume +Box

Very Rare Large Figural Black Bottle!

Offered is one of the seldom seen "sand pebble" bottles by Nicky Verfaillie , a French company which was in business in the late 1970s and 1980s. This company's U.S. distributor was Rosemarie Stack (wife of actor Robert Stack) and their photos were used to advertise these Grain perfumes.

This is the largest size bottle I have seen of these perfumes. It is shaped like a grain of sand, has a matching black cap which I have never removed. Contains some original parfum fragrance but I cannot tell how much. The perfume name " Grain de Folie " which possibly means "Touch of Madness" is enameled in gold. It is a laydown type bottle and its size is 3 inches long. Comes in original fitted box marked "Made in France." Similar bottle seen pictured in Figural Perfume & Scent Bottles by Martin, p. 49. Very good condition.
