Up for auction is a vintage Flavor Seal Nicro Stainless Steel Vacuum Coffee Maker/Brewer.This coffee brewer comes complete with a metal filter/strainer and has the spring attached. The rubber piece has a good seal.The top part measures approximately 10" from the top rim to the bottom of the stem, with a diameter of 6". The bottom part measures approximately 6" tall, for a total of 10" tall when the pieces are put together. It holds approximately 7 or 8 cups.The printing around the black seal says "NICRO CHGO, CAT. NO. R101". The printing on the metal filter reads "NICRO - CHICAGO - PAT. 2502375 D-157486 - STAINLESS" and on the bottom of the pot reads "NICRO - STAINLESS STEEL - CHICAGO - PAT. PEND". Directions for use: Put cold water in the bottom pot and place on the top pot. Place the filter rod in the top pot and put your coffee grounds into the top pot and put on low to medium heat, not high heat. As the water warms up, it will flow upwards into the top pot. When all of it is in the top, stir the water and coffee grounds well. Let it brew to your taste. The longer you brew, the stronger it will be. Then take the pot off of the heat and the brewed coffee will return to the bottom pot, ready to drink.Condition:T is minor scratching from normal wear and age. The top pot has no coffee stains.
