New Jersey State Police Book Book TItle: Blue Devils All State Trooper Adventure Series By Frank Lee Donoghue Illustrated by H. Blanchfield This is a great book if you collect New Jersey State Police Memborilla. This book is from 1936 and it contains 9 real stories involving the New Jersey State Police. In the book the author explains that the title Blue Devils All comes from the fact that "gun toting underworld mobs of Trenton and Camden used to call troopers Blue Devils" The book starts out with a letter from New Jersey State Police Superintendent, Col. Norman Schwarzkopf. This book is from 1936. Considering the book is over 70 years old it is in good condition. The flaws that I see are: The front cover has some slight crease marks on it and the cover and binding show signs of wear. The pages inside the book are in pretty good condition. This book is very hard to find. It is a great piece to add to an New Jersey State Police collection. T are 9 True Stories contained in the book. The first five stories are as follows: #1. Blood on Lookout Rock : Story about the murder of Ann Miller which happened in the Green Pond Mountains. This story involves Trooper Miller , Trooper Hunt and several other troopers out of the Morristown and Pompton Lake stations. #2. A Date With Death : Story about Troopers Hossack, Osborn and several
