This is an early folding Bowie knife tang is stamped on one side with two maltese crosses other side has No.6 Sheffield Steel Superior Pocket Knife stamped on the blade. Handles are made from horn. Blade shows average use light scratches brass has a nice old patina overall 9" long with a 4" folding blade & back spine lock , It is a nice folding weapon that was found in Preston during Mount Sterling Court Days along with an 1870's Trowel Bayonet & a few other military items. It will be sold with NO RESERVE & a low starting bid I'll let you decide the value.
