Very RareVINTAGE NORITAKEHand PaintedSet of Twelve7.25âe COUPE SOUP BOWLS (Discontinued circa 1918)Unknown Pattern ELEGANT FLORAL CHINA These Bowls List Elsew For $24.99 Each We have looked and looked, but have been unable to identify the pattern of this gorgeous, fine-quality vintage china by Noritake. It is listed elsew as unknown pattern N848 discontinued circa 1918. This stamp and its variants were used from circa 1918 until the New York office closed in 1941. We believe because it is the green stamp, that these were made at the main factory at Nagoya. This is a lovely set of twelve coupe soup bowls measuring about 7-1/4 inches across and 1-1/2 tall. Elegant and elaborate tan and yellow scroll work with gold trim accent the two alternating different multicolor floral bouquets on cream. The verge consists of inter-twining scrollwork around a white center. We are offering a nice selection of this very early, very fine china by Noritake. This wonderful set appears in Excellent Condition, especially for its age, no damage or repairs noted, minimal wear. I believe these were mostly displayed rather than used. We found them at the estate sale of an elderly lady. They reportedly had been stored for a long time. Please visit our eBay store for more great treasures!
