I have a Beautiful Vintage Noritake Tobacco Humidor/Jar with a Matching Match holder.The jar with the lid on is 5.5" tall and 4" wide.The matching Match box holder is 2.75" tall and Both items are almost Perfect.I have to say almost because t is a Very Minimal amount of paint loss to the inside rim of the jar from putting the lid on and off.This jar has the Green Wreath mark with the M inside on the base and I believe that mark was used between the years 1920 and 1938.This is really a Beautiful set it features a Handpainted Scenery with a Small cottage on a lake with a Sailboat drifting by some islands and even a few Windmills in the background.These people really knew how to paint as it is blended just perfect.The Match holder is derived from the same scenery and is also almost Perfect except for a Very Minimal amount of loss to the Gold gilt around the edges.Now on the Humidor t is also another Very Special Feature the Raised Jewel like design that was painted on by hand.I am sorry I cant remember the name of this type of painting or Decorating but it is a Special design trait that I am pretty sure was Exclusive to Noritake.That is about all I can come up with on this one except whoever lands this one will be Very Happy with their Purchase I Guarantee it.I Prefer payment thru Paypal but I will also accept a Postal Money order.Thanks read more
