Here is a very nice old Norlund Hudson Bay style axe that has been givin a bit of a facelift and then mounted on a very nice custom handmade exotic hardwood handle....This axe is approx. 28 inches long.....The head on this axe is in great shape and it has been hand polished on all sides ( this axe head has not been nickel or chrome plated ) ...There is no damage to old piece of wood chopping jewelry such as rust, cracks, welds, chips or pits.....The logo is in good shape and all of the letters are there and clearly legible.......This axe is very sharp so dont mistake her for a toy at any time...The handle is all handmade, laminated and shaped to produce my trade mark design ( all woodwork and polishing done by myself ).....The woods I used on this handle are Bubinga, Hickory and Bolivian Rosewood....All the colors you see are the woods natural colors....No stain, paint or dye was used to achieve the multi color effect.....I used several coats of clear enamel for the finish on this handle...also this axe, as well as, all my others is signed and numbered......... ......please axe questions....I ship via USPS and do pack well...I have several other custom axes listed now as well.....I do combine when ever possible....cheaper on you and easier on me....shipping quoted in auction is intended for the lower 48 United States only....all read more
