We have for your viewing and bidding pleasure a vintage collectible baked on enamel painted metal advertising sign.This sign is what is known as NOS (new old stock).It was obtained from a sign warehouse sale w they were discontinuing their inventory after haven been in business for a great many years.The sign appears to be from the late 1940's and or 1950's era.It has a logo of ELSIE the cow with yellow flowers around her neck.The background color of the sign is a rather light blue.In writing it has the name BORDEN'S and below it in a 8 1/2" by 39 1/4" white background in 5 3/4" red block letters it has the words ICE CREAM and states at the bottom of the sign VERY BIG ON FLAVOR.The sign measures 24" wide by 44 1/4" long.It has 10 mounting holes.The sign is in very excellent condition and has never been mounted.The lower left mounting hole has a small corner dent.The other 3 corners are just a tiny bit rubbed.Also t are a couple 3 tiny miniscule white marks on the upper blue section. All the above mentioned marks and rubs and one corner denting was from being moved around the warehouse over the years and years.We are listing this vintage BORDEN'S Elsie the cow ice cream advertising sign at a no reserve selling price.So,thanks for looking and good luck bidding.On the lower right hand corner the sign is marked M-H CO.
