Vintage Occupied Japan Large & Small Bull Dog Figurines. Large - 5 inches high, 6 inches long and 1 3/4 inches wide. Small - 3 3/4 inches tall, 2 1/2 inches long and 1 3/4 inches wide. Both have similiar marks. Marked "Made in Occupied Japan with a logo mark that consists of a large letter "U" over a letter "G" which stands for UCAGCO or the United China and Glass Co. an American Import Company. Both figurines are in Excellent condition with no chips,cracks or other damage. The larger figurine has some heavy crazing lines but looks fine when displayed.These were made to go with each other and are both made of heavy porcelain materials. The detail in the sculpting and painting is greater than most of the Occupied Japan Dog Figurines commonly found. Both figurines show fine airbrush technique with many hand painted details in the eyes ,ears and noses. Check out the other Auctions by this seller for more occupied Japan Dog Figurines.
