This auction is for a complete set, (77 pieces) of vintage, rare and beautiful Crown China. These China dishes were manufactured in Occupied Japan, in 1945 after World War II. The pattern is called "Burma", and is hand painted in red Poppy flowers with an abundance of real gold painted trim around each piece, and on the handles of all serving pieces. T are ten place settings consisting of seven pieces each: Dinner Plate, Flat Soup Plate/Bowl, Salad Plate, Pie Plate, Dessert Bowl, and A Tea/Coffee Cup w/Saucer. T are seven serving pieces: A large Oval Meat Platter, A Medium Serving Platter, An Oval Vegetable Bowl, A Large Covered Casserole Dish, A Gravy Boat w/Attached Saucer, Sugar Bowl w/Lid, and Creamer Pitcher. T are also six extra pieces: 2-Dessert Bowls, 1-Dinner Plate, 2-Salad Plates, and 1-Flat Soup Plate/Bowl. With lids, and extra items t are a total of 85 pieces. I have gone around each piece with my hands to insure t are no cracks or chips. I only found two flaws, and these indentions were under the gold hand painted trim, so I must assume they were manufacturer's defects. It saddens me to sell such a large, lovely and rare set. These dishes belong to my mother who is ill, and we must sell to cover medical costs. The winning bidder will have a beautiful treasure to pass down for many generations. I have tried to include several pictures, along with two of the manufactuer's stamp, that is on the bottom of every piece. If I have over looked something that is important to you, please email and ask questions?? Only Serious Bidders Please. If you have a feedback rating less than ten, or negative feedback, please email before bidding, or your bid may be canceled. If you choose the buy it now option, You must email me immediately with zip code and payment method Buyer must pay actual packing and shipping cost, which I can only estimate to be between $150.00-$200.00 as I will need to have the set professionally packed, to insure it reaches the new owner in perfect condition. The boxes will be quite large, and heavy to accomodate the dishes, along with plenty of bubble wrap and foam for protection. I will email the winning bidder for zip code and will invoice after the dishes are packed and weighed. INSURANCE IS REQUIRED!! Sale is final! Thank you for looking at my auction, good luck, and God bless.
