It boasts a 3/4" thick marble top that is a white tone with gray veins throughout-it was very hard to capture it in the photos-it looks solid white, but it is not,-with nicely cut edges, almost like a bevel cut mirror. This would be wonderful with a pitcher and bowl display as a vintage washstand, or in a Victorian bathroom to hold the linens-a great server that could hold table linens in the drawers and serving items on top-in the bedroom to hold your night things and to display and hold your mirrors, brushes and cosmetics, in the foyer with a lovely vase-with something this elegant and sized just right, the possibilities seem endless! It stands 34 1/4" high to the marble top (36 1/4" to the backsplash), 35" long, and 17" deep. The 3 drawers are dovetailed and are each 7" deep. The marble is free of cracks or breaks and just shows light, normal stains or blemishes, appropriate for its age and nothing you would need to try and hide. The key opens and locks the top 2 drawers, but not the bottom, and t are 3 white wheels and a 4th that is not white. It has great hardwear and slightly bended knees-very charming and desirable! Our furniture is not new, it is all old, vintage and/or antique, and as such will show normal signs of use over the years, which may include average nicks, chips, scratches, surface blemishes or finish fading, as well as some swelling/ sticking of drawers or doors on the older items. Also, many of our treasures come from estates and may have been unused or closed up for some time and so may retain that "old" or musty smell, especially items with closed drawers and doors. If t is anything other than the above typical signs of character, we will do our best to describe that to you. As usual I start the bidding low to give everyone a chance-it does not imply t is anything wrong with the item other than what I have done my best to describe and picture. Sold as-is.
