This is a rare find: a fine old custom OLSEN "504 Kodiak" hunting knife and it is in wonderful condition. Made by Lee Olsen, Jr. in Howard City, MI in the 1970's, the one piece full-length tang/blade, beautiful rosewood handles, brass guard are all in beautiful condition. The blade is untouched and retains it's all original shape and is marked OLSEN OK H.C., MI. The original cordovan-colored leather sheath and the brass safety snap are both stamped with the Olson OK Brand logo. Overall knife length is 9 ¼"; blade is 4 ½" long and 3/16" thick. This is a very well made and very strong knife....it is quite hefty but it fills the hand wonderfully. Mr. Olsen knew what the heck he was doing! Note: be sure to see my other auction of another Olsen (a smaller bird / trout knife) that is the companion to this knife! This auction will not be ended early! I will ship this item only to locations in the US and Canada . I will pay the insurance of the final winning price at no extra cost. Receipt signature required on delivery. Because this is not a newly manufactured item, this item is sold "AS-IS" and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Please ask any questions before you make a bid!
