This is an auction for one vintage Olympia beer lighted sign from probably the 1960's. I really don't know much about it other than I drank a lot of it when I was younger. It is in great shape considering it's age. The pictures are of a lumberjack or hunter and two couples building a sand castle with a pyramid of Olympia beer cans beginning to form. Looks like Ocean Shores to me. Some of the original tags are on the back, one says Underwriters Laboratories No. 1591201, the other a Teamsters tag is from Chicago, so it must have been made t It works great, lights come on immediately after pulling the string and the graphics are completely colorful and not at all faded. It rotates perfectly and has three (3) lighted portions as you can see in the pictures. I did my best with the pictures, it's so big it's tough to get good detailed ones of it but this is a very rare sign. I don't know if you can see it in the pictures but t are some packing peanuts inside the sign on the lower right, I will get them out before I part with it. A couple things you might want to know about this unique piece. I can tell you it's original, not a reproduction. It's huge, it measures about 61' x 16' x 4-1/2' (17' inches counting the rotating part of the sign). The rotating part of the sign and measures about 12' x 12'. Local pick-up at $20.00 Shipping this baby would be done at a UPS store which means they would build a huge coffin-like box, probably around $50.00 plus the actual UPS ground shipping rate to winning bidder's actual physical address. Insurance is manadatory as I accept no responsibility. It's extremely fragile with the moving parts and all. Winning bidder must pay by Paypal immediately upon auction end and no one with zero feedback will be allowed to bid. I really hate to part with this but my fiance and are getting a new place and t has to be a better place for this and my Rainier beer lighted sign (see other auction) than in the garage.
