Vintage Omega British Military WWII Pocket Watch GSTP 1943 Cal 38.5.L.T1 This auction is for a vintage, second world war, British military pocket watch. This has to be one of the best examples around.The watch has a white metal case (probably nickel) that original would have had a brass coloured plating. This has begun to wear off around the edges and has completely worn off the back.The watch has an Omega cal 38.5.L.T1 movement. It has a serial number 9996201 dating it to roughly 1943. The movement is very clean, working well and keeping good time. The case back is marked G.S.T.P Y01829 with military arrow. Inside it is marked "Omega Fab.Suisse Swiss-Made 1140".The watch has a white Omega dial with black and white numbers and orange coloured lume. The dial is in great condition with no chips or scratches.The lume has lost its luminosity due to age. It looks as tho it has possibly been re-lumed at some point as the hands aren't as neat as they would have been originally.The watch measures approx 52mm across. 1p Start - No Reserve Please visit my shop to view my other items and contact me with any questions.
