The 28 ½" by 21 ¼" mid-century Oil Painting in this auction is by Max Savy and depicts a group of men and women repairing large hanging fishing nets draped over a stone wall. The artist has signed the lower right hand corner, and he has also titled it on the back "Les Filets Sur Le Mur" which translates to "The Nets on the Wall."
