This is a vintage and original 20th Anniversary Poster for The American Legion. It has great graphics with a ray of light emanating from between the "U & S" and illuminating the United States on a map of the world. Across the top of the poster is the message "..for Enduring Peace". In the left hand bottom corner in very small print is "Litho In U.S.A.". In the right hand bottom corner are the numbers 17101 and what looks like it might be "S.A.N26 Union Label Cleveland". The poster is approximately 21" x 11" and on a heavy stock paper board. It has a large crease through the middle (probably folded in half at some time) with a few smaller creases to the body and on three of the corners. T is also about a 3/4" tear on the left boarder and thumb tack holes in each corner with a few extra along the top. In spite of it's problems it is still a very decent and desirable piece of vintage Legion memorabilia. The colors are vibrant and the graphics are great. I put its' age at 1939 as it is the 20th Anniversary and I believe the American Legion was Chartered in 1919. Poster will be mailed flat. International bidders please calculate postage before bidding (Priority or Express). Email me with any questions, and thanks.
