Vintage chunky and very ornate sterling silver ring with gilt accents and cabochon red jasper gemstone. The ring is size 7.The ring has fancy sterling design with gilt pierced setting and it weighs whopping 16.8 grams. The ring is marked 925NH , I am not familiar who the maker of this beautiful ring is. I believe to be the red gemstone to be red jasper but I am not absolutely sure, there are so many different semi prescious stones, but to me it looks like red jasper but it could be some other kind of semi prescious stone. The stone measures 17 mm x 12 mm. The front of the ring measures 3/4" . The ring has beautiful pierced design underneath the setting where the main stone sits. On the sides there is some gilding and also clear small stones decorate the sides of this magnificient ring.The ring is in good gently used vintage condition.
