Up for auction is an elegant oval mahogany coffee table manufactured by the Mersman Furniture Company, ca. 1940's. This piece features a lyre or harp center pedestal, outstretched Duncan Phyfe style legs with brass clawfoot toe caps, a shallow "hi-lo" gallery surrounding the inlaid/banded table top. An inset 3/16" thick glass protects the table surface. The condition and appearance of this estate coffee table is simply beautiful! Please note that pictures taken at various angles does affect the wood hue/color of the reddish-brown mahogany. The dimensions are: 36" long x 20" center width x 17" center height and 18" height at the curved ends; table/glass weight is 25 1/2 pounds.
