Beautiful vintage Makah/Nootka basket/tray from the 1930's! This piece measures 8" long by 6 1/2" wide and is made of cedar and bear grasses. Wonderfully woven with 4 birds (ducks) dyed with purple analine dye and two geometric lines making up the inner and outer circles. Wouldn't this piece look great as a platform for displaying some smaller Indian artifacts.
