Up for sale is a spectacular pair of vintage white porcelain candelabras with applied flowers and cherubs. Each candelabra has three candle cups to hold a total of three tapers, and each candelabra is 10 1/4" tall and 10 3/4" across by 4" deep. Both pieces are marked or signed as shown in the photo with what looks like a "TS." in brown. I found a close match from a vintage German manufacturer, but it is not exact and I believe that these could also be from Italy. I have not been able to identify the maker. Each candelabra has two cherubs or Putti seated at their base holding a garland of delicate flowers, and t is a lovely drape of applied flowers that encircles the piece. The bases are scalloped. T are several very small chips or dings on the edges of the leaf shaped drip catchers beneath the taper holders, and on the edge of the middle cups, and one chip in the base of one of the pieces (see photos) from age and use. T is a puncture in the back of the head of one of the cherubs (see close-up photo). This may be a part of the casting process or a factory flaw. Both pieces have residual wax built up which I did not attempt to clean. Thanks for looking!
