Hi and welcome to my auction! eb ay 's greatest bargains are right ! I strive to put on 25 new auctions every evening (afternoons on weekends) so keep on checking back for the most unique, exotic, hard-to-find, and gorgeous vintage jewelry. Most of them are " $1.00 start " and " No Reserve "! "Some great new stuff too - mostly all made with Swarovski Austrian crystal rhinestones - at BELOW WHOLESALE prices too! If you miss a day you've missed a lot! Auctions the way they oughta be! Description: This brooch was a limited edition piece and features two dogs (terriers?) singing. Their heads are turned upward as they belt out a tune -- and you can even see the musical notes! Made of solid pewter (antiqued) in the U.S.A. and signed J.J. It is retired and, as a you can imagine, quite rare. Condition: Pristine Measurements: 2 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide. Tha nks for looking/bidding. I am proud to have been a Jonette Jewelry (their pieces are signed "J.J.") dealer but, sadly, they have gone out of business after 69 years of producing creative, whimsical, and beautfiul pieces using only the finest materials. I have bought a large quantity of their inventory to offer it to you on ebay for a great price! Not only are the pieces retired (of course) but many only had a very short production run which adds value and makes them more highly collectible. How am I able to offer so many rare pieces? Well, while other dealers were buying remaining production inventory I opted for the decades old stuff in the archives and vaults! This is a quote from Julia Carroll, author of "Costume Jewelry 101:" "J.J. jewelry is wonderful. Their Christmas jewelry is highly collectible ." (Even more so now!) A low starting bid kicks this off and t is no reserve! Please check out my other auctions for the best deals on vintage jewelry. Plenty of good $1.00 start items so watch closely if you want great deals. Also, don't be fooled by the "dollar start," I have sold items with an assessed value of up to $90.00 for a single one dollar bid! My site is one place w you actually get more than you pay for! Try me! For all those who bid on several of my items at a time I offer limited s&h discounts (I wish I could even do more but, as you can imagine, t is "no fat" in my auctions). 's the way it works: Take the highest of your s&h charges and add the next item's s&h minus $1.00, then the next item minus one dollar and so on. 's an example: 1 Item Won: S&H as shown in listing =2.95 2 Items Won: s&h = $3.95 (this will be the highest s&h charge of all the items). So add this 3.95 to the above 2.95 minus $1.00 = 5.90 3 Items Won: s& h = 2.95. Take another $1.00 off this 3rd charge = 7.85 Note: Sorry but due to rising costs I can no longer offer a combined shipping discount on items that sell for $3.00 or less. Your bid constitutes your acceptance of these terms. You will receive non-discounted invoices for s&h but either use the above formula or e-mail me with the ebay auction numbers and I will send you a combined invoice. If you are not happy with shipping & handling charges that are stated I respectfully suggest you do not bid. I do not have a scale so sometimes I overcharge a bit and other times I undercharge (it's also hard because of the way postal rates are based on distance).
