PAIR OF VINTAGE DRESDEN SOLDIERS! The soldier with the red coat has writing on the base that reads, "Officier Grenadier Guards Summer Dress 1840. T is a blue stamp with the word Dresden under a monogram. Each soldier is almost 11" tall. The red coat soldier has a sword at his side. He is in wonderful condition without cracks, chip, scratches, discoloration or problems. He is from a smoke free home! The colors are FANTASTIC on this pair of soldiers! The are vibrant but not bright. The drummer is also wonderful! He has Drummer Goldstream Guards 1882 written on his base. He is also clean from cracks or problems. He is missing one wooden drumstick and has the handle. This is quite a pair to enhance a collectors case or an office or the home bar! They are very vintage belonging to grandparents long gone! These are from a Montecito, Santa Barbara Estate. The owners are meticulous people.
