This is a LOW opening BID, NO RESERVE auction for a "VERY RARE" Incredibily 'MINT', collectable PAL CUTLERY CO. 3 5/8" long closed, 2-blade Serpentine Jack! See the Supersized pictures! This knife is another from our collection that came out of an old DRUG STORE company WAREHOUSE from Memphis, Tennessee that went out of business in 1950! And was a recent discovery at the time we purchased this knife along with several others back in July of 1993. Pal Blade company, is the one that purchased REMINGTON'S cutlery division in 1940. PAL continued producing knives until they went out of business in 1953! Because the drug store company went out of business in 1950, that would place the approximate production time period for this knife of 1949-1950, possibly even earlier. That's at least 56 years, this gorgeous 'MINT' condition knife has been around! T was unfortunatly, no box offered to us at the time. Now for the specifics; Brass pins and liners with a third center liner seperating the blades, high polished carbon steel blades with the original luster! The 'Swedged' main clip point blade has a long MATCHSTRIKER PULL and Pal Cutlery Co. in an arch over, Made in USA on the front tang. The pen blade has regular pull and no markings and t are no blade rubs on either blade! These blades are stiff 'WALKER TALKERS', you can actually HEAR them read more
