The items in this auction came from an estate and we know nothing about them.#1---Fountain Pen---Marked Palliag on the nib(no gold marking) with 1st. just under the Palliag name. Nib is tight and not spread apart. Marked ODO on the cap with a frog surrounding the ODO. Overall length with cap in place is 5 1/4". No marking on the clip and the clip is nice and tight. The pen is in very good condition with no bite marks. As you can see in the pictures, the pattern is very attractive. It has the name Max Gerth on the side of the barrel.(Guess that was the owner's name)I soaked the nib end in warm water and the pump worked just as it should. It has a "see through" reservoir.(see picture) This type of fountain pen has a screw type pump at the base end of the barrel. Turn it clockwise and the pump draws the ink into the reservoir. Counter clockwise pushes it out. We have tried to obtain some information on this fountain pen but so far have not. Maybe someone reading this descripton will know something about it.#2---Wahl Eversharp Gold Filled Mechanican Pencil---Missing the tip end. Has a ring on the base end. It appears to have the following engraved on the barrel: Co. O/EShipping for this auction is $4.05. Insurance optional.
