This is a lovely vintage Paragon Fine China Teacup and Saucer, that was made in England starting in 1935 according to its backstamp. On the back of the teacup and saucer it says "Paragon, then in a box is the Royal Crest and by appointment, under the box is says, Fine China, made in England Reg'd." The lovely teacup has gold gilding on the scalloped rim, heavy on the handle and a heavy band on the scalloped footed base. The outside of the teacup is a lovely shade of blue. The inside the teacup it is a pale yellow with yellow, blue and pink flowers with green leaves and stems on one side and a pink flowers, yellow bud and green stems on the other inside of the teacup. The saucer has a scalloped rim with gold, followed by a large area of lovely blue, then around the center circle is a darked band of blue. In the center is one large yellow flower, a blue flower, blue bud and green leaves and stems. This elegant set has no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs that I can find. The teacup measures 2 1/8 inches tall, 4 inches across not including the handle and 1 3/4 inches across the bottom of the footed base. The saucer measures 5 5/8 inches across. This would make a very lovely addition to a teacup and saucer collection or to give to someone special as a gift. Please see pictures before bidding. SHIPPING and GENERAL SALE INFORMATION DISCLAIMER:
