Offered for NO RESERVE Auction is a 1951 PARKER "51" Fountain Pen in Midnight Blue Offered is a Vintage PARKER 51 Fountain Pen i n Midnight Blue with a single grey JEWEL and Lustraloy Cap with Short Chrome Clip. Pen is a Aerometric Filler Type. The cap has a single grey jewel. Pen has a FIRM Fine point 14K GOLD Nib . This nib is very suited to fine precision style writing. The Pen measures 5-15/16" with cap posted on a 30/64" diameter barrel and 5-7/16" long with cap on nib. Pen has excellent color . Manufacturing Marks are readable . The pen has 1951 date code. T are No cracks, chips,dents or major scratches on the cap or barrel. Cap mounts properly. Pen is in operating condition. See writing sample!! This fountain pen is a very well preserved example of the "51" design made by PARKER in the 50's. It also has unique writing characteristics with that fine nib!!! The "51" in its day was voted as "One of the best designs of the 20th century" You kind of get that feel when you look at or hold this pen in your hand.
