Vintage Parker 51 Fountain Pen, MK 1. (c1950's) in excellent used condition. It's finished in Glossy Black with 1/10 12ct Rolled Gold Cap. The pen has been fully serviced. This is a full size pen and measures 138m/m (5 3/8'') The pen is in excellent condition and is free from any cracks, tarnishing, nibble marks or visible scratches. Please note there are a couple of very light pinhead sized dents on the cap and some light marks which don't detract from overall look or function of the pen. The above are difficult to photograph. The Pen is fitted with a 14K 585 Solid Gold medium point nib. The Pocket clip is straight tight and secure with a greyish pearlised jewel on top of the cap. The base of the cap is inscribed: 'Parker' and '1/10 12ct R.Gold. The open end of the barrel is engraved:- 'Made in England'. The pen has been filled with ink and tested, it writes smoothly with a medium line and nice even ink flow. see picture 12. The pen has since been flushed ready to be re-inked, to add to your collection or to buy as an investment.
