Parker Duofold Deluxe fountain pen with a DuofoldDeluxe nib. The cap is marked Pat Sep 5 - 16 PARKER which seems rare, since it has been referenced as being patented in 1921 by some pen experts. This seems to be proof that this pen was created earlier because this cap is quite clearly original to the body as well as the nib. This pen has the unique button fill system. It has been hailed as the masterpiece of the Parker Company. The strong and clear imprint on thebarrel of the fountain pen reads "Geo S Parker, Parker Duofold, and Made in USA". The nib is marked 036629 Parker Duofold Deluxe Made In USA. The cap has the triple gold band representation of the Deluxe pens. I think Parker used 18k gold. The green marbled body looks like shell.
