This is a Parker Duofold "Lucky Curve" that was made, I believe around 1920, but may be earlier. It is green jade with typical discoloration. It has a firm Medium Nib (I believe the nib is fine point, but I cannot be for certain about this, as it does not say on the nib.) This is probably a Parker Duofold Jr ., but I am not too familiar with these pens (the length of the pen is approx. 4 9/16"). It has gold filled trim with moderate signs of brassing on the clip and rings on the cap band. The cap style is a screw on and it has a bladder style button filling system that appears to be working, although a little stiff at times. It does draw ink as I have drawn ink into it and used the pen several times. The nib writes quite smoothly, however, it does show some signs of straightening. The top of the cap, above the clip, shows some indentions. T is also an engraving on the barrel which reads: " G.F. Behre " and on the other side of the pen can be read: " Geo S Parker, Janesville, Wis. Duofold, Lucky Curve, Fountain Pen, USA PAT. 4-25-11 " Overall this is a nice pen. Pen grade would be: Fine . Nib grade would be Fine to Very Good (* see grading system below ). I have attempted to be as descriptive as possible regarding this pen. Please ask any questions prior to bidding.
