You are bidding on a Vintage Paymaster 8000. It is completely functional as well as the locking mechanism working. It comes with additional ribbon and inks. I tried it again and probably could use a ribbon change or re ink. It was printing a little light in the ink but strong on the embossing. Later on Paymaster Corp manufactured several ribbon writer models to include: Paymaster 7000 with keyboard, Paymaster 8000 ribbon writer and the Paymaster 875 which is a combination check writer and/or check signer. T are two check signer only machine used to sign checks.
