Vintage PBA New York City Police cuff links and tie tack set. They date from the 1960's - 1970's. They come from the estate of a NYC police officer who retired in 1975. They had been in his possession for a good while before that. They appear never to have been worn or removed from their original box. Cuff links are gold toned metal, square in shape. There is a small police badge replica mounted on each cufflink. The badge is imprinted :"City of New York Police PBA" in blue lettering. The tie tack is also gold toned metal, badge-shaped and is similarly imprinted. Cuff links are approx. 3/4" square. The original box is blue plastic, with a clear plastic top. The box is in good shape. (The shiny mark in the picture is simply glare.) Bottom of box is imprinted "L.G. Balfour Co.' The box is protected by a cardboard sleeve, which is imprinted "Balfour." It is obviously the original sleeve, as it has some minor age related marks and a bit of minor tearing in the folds and corners. A wonderful addition to a collection of police memorabilia, or to a vintage cufflink collection.
