1912 FENTON CARNIVAL GLASS AMETHYST BASKET PEACOCK & DAHLIA PATTERN

We are pleased to offer for auction an extremely rare, gorgeous vintage Fenton Carnival Glass Basket with electrifying deep rich multi-colors powerfully radiating from its amethyst base color. Made in 1912, this absolutely beautiful Basket features Fenton's old Peacock & Dahlia Pattern on the interior of the Basket with alternating full Peacocks and Dahlia flowers fully in bloom. Also featured is a lovely twisted rope handle design and an eye-catching ruffled rim with much attractive detail. On the stem of the Dahlia flower in duplicate are the half moon symbols, and at the bottom center is a magnificent large star. This popular and highly sought rare Fenton old Basket is in MINT CONDITION with no chips, cracks, hairlines, flea bites, repairs, or any damage at all. It is simply flawless and reaches the extreme of beauty. It's a real jewel.

The Basket is 6" tall to the top of the handle, 6-1/2" wide, and sits on a 2-1/4" circular footed base. The exterior design features marked panels with a floral and leaf design of two different flowers, roses budding and in bloom with leaves and another gorgeous flower all in relief. Fenton's mark is on the base. This Fenton dual theme pattern is similar to Fenton's Peacock and Grape pattern, but this Basket is much more scarce and features deeper rich iridescence. This Basket features the most beautiful iridescence with a fabulous radium shine of many colors, gold, blue, teal, purple, amethyst, green, red, and more with different shades. Very impressive and exquisite with a perfect mold strike. If you like the best, it is, stunning and flawless. A very hard to find piece, especially in this condition.
