This brand new Chief Joseph blanket is new (never used,) but it is at least 20 years old. It is from the estate of the late Sharon Hiest. She was a reporter for the Navaho Times and owned a sutlery which I believe was called the "Wild Rose Emporium". She was an avid collector of everything South Western, I bought the bulk of Ms. Hiest estate. This blanket is from her sutlery's stock.Absolutely beautiful, that' the only way I can describe the color. It is wonderful cream colored base. Has to be seen to be appreciated. It measures 60 by 80 inches. I do not have a scale here to weight it but I believe it to be a true 5 lbs. blanket!If you like South Western goods stay tuned boys and girls I'm going to be listing a ton of it over the next few weeks.I'm going to start the bidding at a very reasonable price.
