Up for auction is a vintage Penncrest 200 3 speed 18" reversable and thermostatically controlled box fan Model No. 9713 - A. The fan measures approx. 22" square by 8" deep. It is yellow - gold in color with woodgrain on the top. It has a white plastic front fan guard , white metal rear fan guard, and a yellow - gold plastic carrying handle. T are 3 metal fan blades and 4 plastic feet on the bottom of the fan. T are 2 control knobs on the top of the fan. The first is the speed selector. It has seperate settings for exhaust and intake ( low, medium and high on each side and center position is off ). The second control knob is the thermostat control. It has settings from 40 to 120 in 10 degree increments. T is a sticker on the fan motor which reads Lakewood Eng' R & Mfg. Co. Chicago Illinois. T also is a sticker on the bottom inside of fan which reads Model No. 9713 - A AC 115 V. 60 Cycle 2.6 Amps. Manufactured by JC Penny Company New York, N.Y. 10019.Most of the paint is intact with some scratches and a light paint over spray on the top of fan and front fan guard. The fan runs smooth and quiet on all speed settings. Thermostat control is also in working condition. Very powerful on high speed settings. Thanks for looking.
