Up for bid are two NRFB People's Republic of China Embroidered Chinese Girl dolls. Both dolls are jointed at neck, shoulders, & hips, have black floss hair, & painted features. The dolls are covered with plastic bags & are tied into their boxes with thin colored ribbon tied in a bow. The dolls are in excellent condition with bright colors in clothing & painted features, but do have slight crazing on faces. One doll is wearing yellow trousers, red blouse trimmed in white with white collar & bow at neck, white socks, green shoes & a blue apron with white trim. Her hair is styled in a bun secured with a yellow band on top of her head. Her ribbon tie is yellow. The other doll is dressed in a long yellow dress with long sleeves & collar, a bright pink vest trimmed in black with 4 tiny black buttons & 2 gold metal decorations & white bow at neck, white socks, & green shoes. She wears a square green patterned hat with black & gold braid trim & her hair is styled in two long pigtails. Her ribbon tie is green. The boxes are in good condition with some spotting &/or creasing/bending. Boxes have a flower printed on the front with an opening in the center of the flower that allows the face of the doll to be viewed. Also, on the front of boxes are printed the words "Chinese Embroidered Doll" & "Made in the People's Republic of China" & other words written in Chinese. The same English words are written on one side of the boxes & Chinese words are on the other side. On the end of boxes at the top are printed Embroidered Doll & Chinese characters. At the bottom end is printed the words Art. No: & Size: with lines to fill in & Chinese characters. The doll in the dress is noted as Art. No 404 & the doll in trousers is Art. No: 414. These dolls would be excellent additions to a vintage dolls collection, foreign dolls collection, or just a regular doll collection.I am selling some of both mine and my mother's collections. We've been collecting since the 1970's and have different type collections. Space is now a problem for me, and my mother has passed away. So, I must part with some of our quite large collections. I hope if you bid and win, you will enjoy our items as much as we did.I am in a wheelchair and do not drive. I depend totally on my husband and son to take care of all physical aspects of my eBay sales. My husband packages items and takes them to the post office for shipping. My son photographs items for listing and then locates them in our various totes when sold. I try to ship within 10 to 15 days, but if it will be longer, I will notify the buyer as to the timeframe for shipping as soon as possible. I do ship by USPO priority mail (3 to 5 days) unless buyer prefers a cheaper method. The listing states expedited shipping, however that applies to timeframe after item has shipped, not timeframe for shipping item. If you need item for a birthday or holiday, let me know, and I will ship as soon as possible. Note to international bidders: Please email me for correct shipping cost or wait until I send an invoice. The calculated amount for shipping on the listing is usually lower than the actual shipping cost when it comes to shipping to other countries. If you make an instant payment and the actual shipping cost is higher, I will contact you to pay the difference. I will not ship item until the difference is paid. I take this action because I can no longer afford to pay the difference. I hope international bidders will understand. I want buyers to be satisfied with our transactions.
