Up for bid it this vintage and beautiful four tier crystal chandelier from my Aunt's estate. I have no idea of its actual age, but my Mother is sure it was in a small dining room of one of my Aunt's earlier homes. It is a petite size, my Mother calls it a "birthday cake" chandelier, measuring approximately 10" in diameter across the top and 9" from the top of the brass ceiling fixture to the bottom of the largest teardrop crystal. We found it all neatly packed together in a box marked "Chandelier", with no other info about it.
As far as I can tell, it looks like all parts needed to install it are Included are the decorative brass four-tier fixture with a mirror on the underside to reflect the crystals, lots of beautiful crystals that connect to it, a round ceiling mount, a bracket that connects to the mount and a two-light bulb fixture with attached wires, (which should definitely be checked for safety before installing). It is a flush mount style, so it will have to be rewired into an existing ceiling light fixture. T's a total of 116 hanging crystals. Actually more, as most are two-piece with a round crystal at the top and a teardrop crystal connected to it and the "icicle" crystals which are three separate crystals connected together, but a total of 116 pieces that hang from the chandelier. Sorry, for the confusion. I think you can see what I mean from the photos. The top row has 42 total, 21 two-piece round and teardrop crystals and 21 three-piece round crystals (icicles, I call them). They are the most decorative with little gold bow connectors probably because they hang on the outside of the chandelier. The second row has 34 two-piece round and teardrop crystals. The third row has 24 two-piece round and teardrop crystals. The last or bottom row has 15 two-piece round and teardrop crystals. On the very bottom, hanging from the center chain, is one large two-piece round and teardrop crystal. It took my husband about an hour to "build" it for the photos. He had a few of each style of crystal left over, so guessed they were just extras. Of course, they will be included. When we took it apart after the photos, we wrapped and marked each row of crystals separately, so it will be nice and easy for you to put together.
