This is a beautiful vintage pewter oil lamp in Aladdin style that sits in an individual plate. It is handmade by Shirley Robertson of Williamsburg, Va. The lamp is in excellent shape (no dings/dents/scratches) and has that wonderful luster which Shirley pewters are famous. The lamp is appx 4 1/2" tall sitting in the plate and 8" from tip of spout to end of handle. The top of the lid screws off for filling the lamp and has and engraved cone. The individual plate and the lamp has the Shirley engraving on the bottom. Shirley Roberston founded the American Pewter Guild which set higher standards for pewters. His works are and will continue to be highly collectable as he was a master pewter craftsman. Shipping is $10 to lower 48 states and payment by Paypal please. And...try as we might...Aladdin did not come out of the lamp. Thanks for your kind viewing.
