is a great vintage lamp oil pot made by Landers, Frary & Clark of New Britain, Conn. These were used to refill the old oil lamps. Made of pewter, this piece measures approx. 9" long from end to end. The spout is long and slender, tapering at the tip with a tiny cap for the tip attached to a chain. T's a removeable screw top cap for refilling and another little cap next to the handle. This is for relieving the pressure that may build up on the inside. The round squat body of the pot is set off by 12 panels. T is a small dent on one of the panel creases . This is very minimal. It is signed on the bottom, Landers Frary & Clark, New Britain, Conn. This piece is in good condition. It does need a little better clean. I just wiped it down with a daml cloth. Alot of people like the patina on pewter and do not like it shiny. This will be left to the individual purchaser. A nice find for the collector. Thanks for looking.
