* * * VINTAGE PHENOLIC / BAKELITE ~ VESTA CASE & MATCH BOX HOLDER This auction is for two items.An unusual and very tactile reddish brown bakelite vesta case.The base of the case has the striker board and also unclips to load the matches.The matches are held inside by two pieces of metal which are lightly spring loaded.The red vesta matches strike well but are a little on the small side for the case.Measures approx. 6cms x 4cms.The match box holder is made of a yellow form of plastic. � The match box clips into the holder.A rubbed picture of the Little Mermaid, Copenhagen is glued within a small lipped frame but thiscould easily be replaced with a photo of a loved one.Measures approx. 5.4cms x 4cms. * CONDITION * Bakelite Vesta CaseVery Good Condition commensurate with age and use.No Chips, nibbles or hairlines.Small blemish in bakelite [Photo No. 7 ]Yellow Matchbox HolderGood condition. � Needs a clean.Picture rubbed. * ADDITIONAL INFORMATION * Please feel free to ask any questions you may have regarding this item.
