Vintage 1956 Phillips 66 Gas Station Double Sided Metal Sign Up for Auction is a very Nice Old Two Sided Phillips 66 Gas Station Metal Sign. Black and Orange. This neat Ol' Sign was found hanging on the side of an old Barn up in Tennessee underneath an overhang. Sign was nailed onto the Barn so naturally one side wasn't facing the weather and is in better shape than the other. However, both sides are still in pretty good shape for the Age. Sign does have some holes due to previous hanging on Barn or previous Station Mounting, and does have some spots of flaking and some rust spots, possible BB Pellet marks. Side that was facing out shows some signs of fading but possibly might clean and polish out. Still has great graphic's. (See all Pic's for better description and views of sign) Still in good shape and appears to be all original paint. Nice Size and is the old Route 66 Shape Phillips 66 used early on. Would further clean up possibly if new owner chose to clean it. We leave items in as found shape and let the New Owner clean or make any repairs if needed should they choose. Item is naturally in used condition and being sold as-is. Email with any questions. Sign measures 70 1/2 Inches Wide x 70 Inches Tall. On Bottom of Sign are the Black Painted Initials SPS-56.
