Here is an awesome old sewing machine. This is the PHOENIX MADE IN GERMANY #82 machine. On the front is PHOENIX MADE IN GERMANY and the number 82. On the back is picture of bird with PHOENIX on it along with 115 V. AC-DC 1/15 H.P. 5000 R.P.M. MADE IN U.S.A. This comes in a plastic case that is 16" tall and 19" at bottom. The bottom of case has measurements up to 17" on it. I did not plug this in to see if it worked or not as I am totally illiterate when it comes to sewing-I use a safety pin when a button falls off. Appearance of this is excellent-there was even an old piece of paper from McCall's magazine under the thread with price of 83 cents an issue. I am sure this was put there to protect it from scratching. Due to the extreme heaviness of this-I am loosely estimating the shipping. I stepped on scales with this and appears to weigh 40 pounds, so will estimate at 40 pounds-extremely hard for me to do-I am a 56 year old female and not that strong.
