Vintage Photo Album (1937-58) Wales, Herefordshire, Worcs, + Orient/P&O Cruises Description An amazing treasure trove of original photographs and ephemera detailing one family's holidays in 1937, 1938, 1939 and 1958. Detailed notation in the first half of the book reveals images from 1937 and 1938 of Hereford, Ross on Wye, Ledbury, Goodrich Castle, Symonds Yat, Great Malvern, Worcestershire Beacon, Dinedor Camp, Monmouth, Tintern Abbey and Skirrid Fawr amongst others. The second half of the book covers two cruises. The first in 1939 on board the S.S. Orford of the Orient Line featuring images of Lisbon, Casablanca, Las Palmos, Teneriffe & Madeira in addition to many on board scenes and ephemera. The second cruise is with P&O in 1958 on the S.S. Chusan and includes many images of Gibraltar, Palma, Palermo, Selva and Morroco plus onboard scenes and ephemera. The book contains over 250 original photographs, several commercial images from the period and many items of ephemera such as passenger lists, menus and postage stamps. The album measures 33cm x 26�cm x 5cm and whilst the cover is in solid condition, a number of the pages have understandably come loose, so packed are they.
