Photo Album containing 44 Tintype Photos This vintage photo album is filled with 44 photographs of various men, women and children. I estimate the dates of these photographs to be 1860-1890, based on the clothing and hairstyles, but t are no recorded dates to justify my estimation. No names or dates are recorded in the album. I believe one picture is of a black woman, and all the rest are white people. The album measures 3.5 x 5 inches, has 12 pages and each page holds 4 tintypes. The very last page does not have any, thus t are a total of 44. All are black and white photographs. The album pages are soiled and t is some separation at the front hinge, but all pages are attached. The album is burgundy cloth-covered boards with gold gilt writing on the front. I wish I could identify the people or at least the location, but I did not take the tintypes out of the album to see if t were any identifying marks. I was afraid I would tear the mats around the pictures if I tried to remove them. Auction Terms & Methods of Payment Thank you for looking at our auctions! Payment must be received within 14 days of auction end. We accept personal checks or money orders, and anyone with a positive feedback score of at least 25 will not have a hold on a check. Due to the extremely high cost, we have decided not to use Paypal any longer. If you absolutely must use Paypal in order to receive the item quickly, please contact us and we will work something out. If you have any problems, or feel an item was not honestly described, please contact us and we will try to resolve it or will give you a full refund of your purchase price.
