This is a publicity photo of Willie Camper, a famous giant, that at one point travelled with J. Sam Houston. The photo was taken by Floyd R. Getsinger of Phoenix, AZ.

The photo belonged to J. Sam Houston, independent showman. The back has the photographer's name and address and the words " Willie Camper, Missippi and died at 22. I assume written by Mr. Houston. T are thumbtack holes in the corners and the upper right hand corner has been cut off. The is also a stain on the front of the photo. I don't know if it could be removed.
