Up for your consideration is a Vintage Picture Reverse Painted "Butterfly Wing" Effect. This lovely picture is titled "Autumn Bouquet" which is a vase full of "Phlox and Asters". According to the description on the back, this picture was made from an exclusive hand process exactly duplicating the world famous "Butterfly Wing" pictures. Delicate colors are transferred directly to the inside of the glass (reverse painting) which present a pearly quality which make the flowers spring to life and the glass itself seems to radiate an elusive light. The colors I see are cream or gold, black, and gold & silver shimmers. This vintage picture measures 11 3/4" by 7 3/4" and the wooden frame is black and gold. The picture is "Another "RELIANCE" Product" made by R.P.F. Co. out of New York and Chicago. It is numbered B.E.-20 and t is a partial sticker on the back which has the letters NRA and an Eagle yet I can not read the rest. This "Autumn Bouquet" vintage picture would be a beautiful addition to your home. Picture will be double boxed for shipping because of the glass.
