This is a great old pie safe. I daresay it would be quite difficult to find another one in better condition than this one. Aside from some slight discoloration on the inside (see photo) it is in otherwise "like new" condition. T are no dings, mars, dents, etc. that I can see. Everything is square, tight and shipshape all around. The "Victorian-Looking" ornate latch key does have a very nice patina and the door latches perfectly with all hinges secure and intact. It comes with the two original removable shelves and it has the tiny air holes for ventilation of pies, cakes or whatever. For the collector, this is the one wanted most. It can also just be enjoyed (even used) for its own sake. For more photos or to answer any questions, get ahold of me and I will be prompt. The pie safe measures 20" high, 13.5" wide, 11" deep. The top of the safe is recessed one-half inch. Additional Note: The back, bottom, one side and the top (see photo) are painted light green. The metal is galvanized. I don't know if the pie safe would have come from the factory painted or unpainted. Some of the paint has been flaking off over time.
