PIEL'S BEER BAR ACCESSORY HOLDER with PIEL'S GLASS This auction is for one of many Beer Memoriabilia items that my Dad had on display behind or on the bar he had built in our basement in 1955. When the basement underwent a complete makeover in 2000, these items were packed away for safe keeping. Presented for your bidding pleasure is this Piel's Beer Bar Accessory Holder with Piel's Glass . This unusual piece of Beer Memoriabilia from the mid 1950's has two smiling gnomes or elfs, holding the tap on a keg of beer labelled for Piel's . This item is a multicolor composite plastic with an opening on top that will hold a beer glass (INCLUDED) or could be used for stirrers, swizzle sticks and beer foam scrapers. A true piece of beer history. The holder is 6 1/2 " wide 5 1/2 " high x 5 1/2 " deep with the opening on top being 2 1/2 " in diameter. The words PIEL'S BEER appears on the front and both sides and on the back is PIEL BROS. NEW YORK T are no other markings on this item. It is almost 50 years old and is in very good condition, with some minor scratches and wear, which is to be expected. The beer glass is in excellent condition with Piel's and an Elf/Gnome screen printed in red on the glass.
