This candy dish or covered serving bowl is beautiful! It does have a chip on the side of the lid. When the lid is on and from the perspective of looking at it from table level you can not see that it is chipped. I have the chip facing forward in the picture but the angle is not really from the table perspective. It really does not detract from the beauty or function. You can use this without the lid as a server since it is quite large. 6" diameter and the bowl is 2 1/4" tall. With the lid it is 4 3/4" tall. � Thanks for looking!
