Vintage Pioneer CS-99A Stereo Speaker System. This awesome pair are in very good condition, I tested them with vintage 40 watt reciever and turntable and they thundered the room. Clean well balanced and great imaging the sonic quality of an era gone bye. Using the reciever with mosfet outputs and turntable is for which these speakers were designed was truly a listening experience and I forgot how good audio was back in the late 70's. Cabinets are near mint with only a few minor nicks. All drivers work and the pair balanced well evenly left and right. The only two issues I noted is that there is a slight tear at 4:00 o'clock position on the small mid-range ( see picture 8 ). This does not affect the sound and can be easily repaired. The other issue is a few drops of paint on the grill from room painting which is not to noticeable . They are 8 ohms and are very efficient where a good 40 watt MOSFET amp will be more than enough. Rated 100 watts. Each speaker is 25 inches high X 16 inches wide X 12 inches deep and wiegh 65 lbs each. These are really a nice set of vintage speakers and selling for far less than their 1979 price. From a non-smoking home. On pictures 4 and 5 no flash was used which make it appear darker.
